Spazm Films is an independent film company based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Although originally created as an off-shoot to independent music label, Spazm Records, Spazm Films has developed and progressed in its own right since 2019.

Spazm Films concentrates on short films, the first (The Rhythm, 2109) being live action, and all subsequent projects being stop-motion animations.

Spazm Films runs on an extremely low budget and uses found objects and hand-made props, along with existing equipment and programs to create the shorts. The idea that creativity shouldn't be limited by money, and should be more about ideas is the ethos behind the company. Working with this in mind increases the accessibility of film as a medium to anyone with a personal computer device and some free software.

Since producing The Rhythm, Spazm Films have created four stop-motion shorts: All Consumed (2020), Wake-Up to Sustainability (2021), Conkers for the Brave (2022), and The Process (2023).
