The soundtrack for The Rhythm consists of some downloaded 'noises' and a main track also titled The Rhythm. The track was originally written with the intention of it being turned into a full-band track for Dai-X as an opening song for a Halloween gig. This never actually happened and instead this was where the original idea for the short film came from. The main rhythm of the track was played live for about 16 bars and then looped on Garageband. The rest of the track was all done through various vocal layers, with a few extra clicks here and there using a biro and various surfaces! The full song was written and produced by Debbie Lane.
